San Francisco Overnight Sailing Adventure...with Kids?

We really enjoy when families bring their kids to experience BluReverie Adventure. We shared this adventure with children of all ages and all seem to enjoy this unique experience.

We love it when families bring their kids to experience BluReverie's sailing adventure. We have hosted families with children of all ages and have had a great experience. When children come onboard, the first thing they usually do is run to see what a "bedroom" in a catamaran looks like? Then they run to the forward deck, up to the fly bridge, back down to the kitchen; it seems as if within 2 minutes they have already covered every inch of the boat and call it their home!

Throughout the trip, we encourage the kids to ask us anything and we are happy to answer any questions they come up with. On our return trip on Sunday, if they feel up for it, they can even join us on a few age appropriate light duty efforts to participate in our operations! This kind of hands-on experience creates lasting memories and learnings.

We will work with the parents to provide menu options that are suitable to the children's preferences. At our island destination, kids will love exploring in a car-free environment. Depending on their age, they can go hiking, bike riding, taking the tram, or playing at the beach.

Rest assured that the safety and comfort for you and your children is critical to us. We want this to be a fantastic experience. When we sail, the San Francisco Bay will feel very smooth in our 48 foot catamaran. One key difference between a catamaran and a sailboat is that catamarans do not heel or lean. That means that we will have a steady and flat surface to walk on which will provide a comfortable and safe space.

One of the parents shared with us a drawing that his child made of BluReverie weeks after his experience onboard. The drawing is amazing! Memories like this is what makes BluReverie most rewarding for us.
