One of our guests wrote a review for BluReverie as an "Exuberant luxurious weekend!" and we certainly felt proud to read that feedback. That is the kind of feeling we want each of our guests to experience after coming aboard BluReverie.
We pride ourselves in striving to give a wonderful and memorable experience. While we don't make the weather, the weather is indeed part of that experience. This is why we limit our overnight sailing season between April and November which are usually sunny and warm in the San Francisco Bay.
In establishing go/no-go criteria, we look at three variables that impact guest experience: high-winds, cold-temperatures, and rain. Even during the typical dry and sunny season, any given departure may be outside the norm. Thus, if the weather turns into rainy or cold temperatures, we will contact the guests and suggest moving the departure to a different day. If the weather is experiencing high-winds or in any way causing safety concerns, we will not sail and will reschedule the departure.
With that said, we are lucky that the weather in San Francisco Bay is almost always perfect between April and November. If you will be around during those months, we hope to see you in one of those weekends!
